Popcorn Bear

Good morning everyone.  Here is the last of the bear cards that I did for The Glitter Pot.  The image was stamped using Graphite Black Brilliance and then coloured using Copics.  I've certainly been getting lots of practise using these pens over the last couple of months and feel that I am getting the hang of them more now.

The snowflake that you can see in the background is from the Hero Arts Winter's Butterfly clear stamp set.  This has been stamped randomly onto acetate using white StazOn and then stuck over the background card panels.

All products can be obtained from The Glitter Pot.

By the way I still haven't been able to lay my hands on that Toteally Cool Desktop tote so if anyone sees one in Wild Berry anywhere in the UK please let me know!!

I think you are right about getting the hang of the colouring. That ribbon really looks 3D it is a smashing little card.

Hi Kay, just a line to say I love the way you've coloured this card. I saw the stamps and was put off by what looked a bit fussy images but with your treatment it looks great. You have a light hand when it comes to design. Please keep up the good work x

Thanks so much guys. I'm really glad that you like the colouring as having taken no notice of art in school I tend to struggle sometimes with it!!

Hi Kay,

Lovely card. Cute image. And the colouring is excellent as always.

Having blogs by people who've taken Copic Certification Classes, they still struggling with some of the finer nuances of using them. So instead of putting yourself down, give yourself a pat on the back. The ribbon looks lush.

Oh...psst...while I was browsing the OysterStamps website earlier I spotted that they had the Tote-ally Cool tote in Wild Berry in stock. Best head on over there quick.

Hugs, Pauline x

Thanks Keryn - so glad you liked it.

Hi Pauline - thanks ever so much for your kind comments. I really appreciate it! My grateful thanks too for the heads up regarding the tote! As soon as I read your comment I went straight over to the website and ordered one. Do you know they never acknowledged my original email enquiring about the tote!! Anyway thanks again for that - I am now one happy bunny!
