Darting Dragonflies

As promised I am back with another Hunkydory Stylish Silhouettes make.

I just love how because of the quality of Hunkydory's foiling and laser cutting that you can so easily make a quality looking card with the minimum of effort and hardly any materials!! This card only used a 7x7 card blank and one of the foiled sheets out of the 6x6 pad and a couple of laser cut dragonflies!!
The stamps used are from the Wishes On Wings Floral Wishes stamp set - love this one!! All the colouring was achieved using Copics. I kept the laser cuts plain for this one and mounted them with the reverse side showing as I liked the scorched detailing on this side that the laser leaves behind!!
All of these fab new products are now available direct from Hunkydory Crafts :).

Hope to be back again soon with some more makes!!

Sweet Like Honey

Hi everyone. It's no secret that I just love the quality of Hunkydory's products so recently I had a play using their new Stylish Silhouettes along with their Wishes On Wings foiled 6x6 pad and matching clear stamps which all recently launched on Create and Craft.
This card uses a combination of the foiled pad, one of the matching stamp sets and a couple of the Stylish Silhouettes laser cut sheets. All the imagery was coloured with Copics. As you can see I coloured in the foiled honeycomb with yellow and orange Copics and also lightly stamped and embossed the background using VersaMark and Crystal embossing powder.

Stylish Silhouettes are a brand new release from Hunkydory - these are beautifully laser cut imagery which are just so intricate. I loved playing around with these products!! The bee (holding the trail of the word) is one of the fabulous laser cuts as too is the Sweet Like Honey sentiment. All the other imagery was taken from the matching clear stamp sheet and coloured with Copics.

A really simple card which was a joy to make thanks to the quality of Hunkydory's products.

I've made quite a few cards so I will be back to show you another one soon!

Meanwhile just a heads up to let you know that next Thursday (5th May) I will be demoing the new Gemini machine along with some of the new Die-sire Create a Card Bases, Downton Abbey Filigree dies and Leonie Pujol's masks/stencils and co-ordinating stamps at Sharon's Card Crafts in Swanley.
