Demo at Birds In The Barn

Hi .............it's been a while again hasn't it????

I'm just stopping by to let you know that this coming weekend I will be demoing at Birds In the Barn (Marks Tey, Essex) this Saturday (2nd April) and teaching a workshop on the Sunday (3rd April) using my new stamps and PaperArtsy's Fresco Finish paints.

Here's a little sample of what I'll be demoing on the Saturday - PaperArtsy's brand new Infusions along with my stamps and Fresco Finish.

I am definitely loving this combination!!

Mother's Day Card

Hi everyone.

I had really meant to keep posting on here but time always seems to be against me!!  As you may have noticed I've been tinkering around with the look of the blog and it is currently in a 'changing state'!!

One of these days I may get myself organised!!  But until then I thought I'd share Mum's Mother's Day card that I created this year using both of my new stamp sets for PaperArtsy.

This ended up being an A4 size card as Mum had requested that I use both sets of my stamps when creating her card this year! I really had great fun creating this and was really pleased with how it turned out.

The background was created using PaperArtsy's Fresco Finish acrylic paints along with one of Lin Brown's stencils PS001 - I just love this stencil - it seems to go SO well with the Alliums!!

All the foliage and grasses were stamped using Memento inkpads and the main flowers were stamped and embossed using VersaMark and White Detail embossing powder.
Colour was added to the flowers using a mixture of Fresco Finish paints and Copics.
As Leandra (Mrs PaperArtsy) has named me the Flittery Glittery Princess the finishing touch just had to be some sparkle with a little Crystal glitter glue and along with some tiny little rhinestones glued into the individual flower heads of the Alliums.

I'll try and post again soon!!!
