Tall Leafy Tree

I am going to try and find some time this afternoon to finally sort out those Glitter Pot cards but meanwhile here's another of those Stevenage cards this time using the other leafy tree design.

As you can see with a bit of careful manouvering you can actually stamp the tree three times to fit inside the circular frame. (I must confess that I did use a stamp positioner to do this!) The frame trees, wording and background holly were all stamped using Brilliance Starlite Black and the snowflakes were stamped using Versamark - I think I may have embossed them but it has been so long now that I can remember!! If I did then it was with clear powder. The trees were coloured using a pink Sakura Stardust pen.

Stamp used:
Denami Design
G143 Christmas Holly Vine
D115 Small Narrow Leafy Tree
J122 Demi Double Circle
D98 Sparkles
E112 Small Starburst

Printworks - B2788 Let It Snow

All stamps and materials used on this card are available from Stamp Addicts.

This is lovely Kay. It's a really unusual colour for Christmas but works so well. I love those tress. These loose modern images are very much in at the moment aren't they. I really like them they are so eye catching.
Hope you are managing a bit of time to yourself over the weekend.

Lovely design Kay, I am excited as I will be on holiday in Sussex in September and won't be far from The Glitter Pot, so I will be able to see your samples in real life.
Really looking forward to shopping there too.
Hugs
Christine xx

Hi Kay,

I absolutely love this card. I used a similar colour combo for some of the cards I made last Christmas. I do prefer the 'tall leafy tree' design to the more fuller 'leafy tree' image.

I actually made some cards yesterday and I'm planning to make some later. Use up some of my craft stash. My hairdresser (who has bought some of my cards in the past) has said she'll stock some in the new salon she's the manager of. I'll donate half the proceeds to charity.

I'm going to try and be good for the majority of September and then spurlge at Ally Pally.

Have a great Bank Holiday.

Hugs, Pauline x

Thanks guys I'm glad you liked it. I am pondering on doing something quite similar to this for my Christmas cards this year as there isn't much colouring involved so shouldn't take too long!!

Christine - don't forget to visit The Craft Barn as well as The Glitter Pot as the Barn offers different things and is well worth a visit too!
