Giving Up Crafting!!
Well my class cards are finally completed after most of my efforts going into the bin!! Isn't it strange?? Sometimes cards come together so easily and other times it doesn't seem to matter what you do, nothing goes right at all! This isn't so bad when you have got lots of time to sort it out but is a nightmare when you are really pushed for time. I just hope that what I've finally come up with will be ok for everyone!

Anyway here is a card that I didn't struggle with and is one that I made near the end of last year when Jill and I did a live TV show on Create and Craft back in November. The main image is from my Funky Flowers stamp sheet and the flourishes and wording on the background are from my Fancy Flourish stamp sheet - both of these can be bought from either The Stamp Man or The Craft Barn.

We all have days like this usually when we are preparing for classes, where you have to use specific things,I also think we are all to critial of ourselves, I bet we would have liked what went in the bin as you work is always lovely.
take care love chris xx
I sympathise, having experienced exactly the same, as I'm sure most of us have! And, as Chris says, one's own worst critic is invariably oneself. I think you're right that doing something completely different for a few days is the best thing to do, so that you can come back to it with a fresh outlook. Having said that, your work is always fresh and inspiring to me.
A stunning card, Kay. I hope your mojo returns to you very soon, although it often feels worse to ourselves than it appears to others. I love your funky flowers - they are so fresh and pretty.
Have a wonderful break and time out. So glad to hear that you are not giving up Craft permanently as I have only just discovered your blog and think you work is beautiful. As this card above shows.
Hi Guys.
Thanks so much for your support and encouragement. Yesterday I spent the day typing out project sheets for the classes and today I am going to catch up on paperwork before going back to creating tomorrow. Ideally I would have liked to have had some more time off but unfortunately I have a busy schedule. Anyway we shall see if things have improved when tomorrow gets here!!
Chris - you are so right! We are always very critical of ourselves but I can asure you that what I was doing just wasn't working!!
Love Kay xxx
