Home Again But Not For Long!!

Hi guys.  My thanks to everyone who booked onto my Stamp Addicts workshop on Friday - it was really nice to see you all.  I thought that you all did a terrific job with the cards you made and I hope that you were happy with them too!

I must just say thank you to Sharon for bringing along your ProMarkers for me to try - I really appreciated it.  A big thank you for the card that you presented me with too on Saturday - that was totally unexpected and I was very touched.  I'll be in contact when things are a bit less hectic for me but meanwhile would it be ok for me to show everyone what you made??  Also Dawn - don't forget to send me a piccie of your red squirrel if you manage to take one at some point!  How lucky are you to have one of these delightful creatures regularly visiting your garden!!

Well the traffic conditions were very kind to me yesterday and I got home around 7pm so that wasn't too bad.  The traffic was certainly a lot lighter going home than it was going up!!  I've now got 2 more nights in my own bed before I have to hit the motorway again as I will be travelling up to Peterborough on Tuesday and staying up there overnight to film live on Wednesday at Create and Craft.  Infact I've still got lots of things to prepare for this so I had better go and get on with it!!

Hi Kay.

You are most welcome for both the promarkers and the card! I would be very honoured to see my card on the website! It's actually a replica of a card that I designed for Papercraft Inspirations some time ago. (I never did thank you - as, thanks to your encourgarment I fulfilled my dream of designing for a mag and ended up doing about 8 commissions - so Thank you!!)
Take care

Hi Kay, I really enjoyed the workshop on Saturday, sorry I had to leave early as I was going out with my sister that evening. I finished my cards on Sunday and they look great. I will certainly send a picture of the red squirrel if I can get him to stay still long enough. Haven't seen him or her today, but have got a great spotted woodpecker on the nut feeder at the moment. Look forward to the next workshop and buying your DVD's when they are finished. Thanks for the colouring inspiration, it has inspired me to try more mediums and I bought some of the Lyra Rembrandt pencils on Saturday
Best Wishes

Hi Kay
Just want to wish you all the best for Wednesday (love the stamps as always). I did my first show with Jill last week, it was a bit nerve racking but I enjoyed it all the same.
Anyway I shall be tuning in!!!

Warmest Wishes

Sharon - thanks for giving your permission for me to show your card. I'll upload it when I get a moment!! Congratulations too on being published! I don't get cardmaking magazines any longer so I had no idea - well done!

Dawn - we have a great variety of birds here too including woodpeckers but sadly no red squirrels!! Even our grey squirrels aren't around much at the moment. Glad you liked the pencils - in particular I find these are great for colouring anything that is nature inspired especially birds and animals.

Tracey - thanks for the good wishes! It will be my first live show but hopefully it will be ok! It's amazing how quickly that hour goes isn't it?
