Miranda

Hi all.  I know I keep saying this lately but I just don't know where the time keeps disappearing to!

Anyway today I have found a few minutes so I am back with another card to share with you.  This one was made months ago now as part of my DT work for The Craft Barn.

This little cutie is called Miranda and she is part of the Green Bean Baby/Teacup Girls range.  I don't know about you but I just LOVE her spiky hair.  All of the Teacup Girls have sweet little features which really appeals to me.

I'm afraid that it has been sooooo long that I can't remember whose paper this is but it did come from The Craft Barn.  You might be able to make out that I did some stamping and embossing onto the pink Bazzill card too with one of my own stamps from the Double Delights stamp sheet.  As luck would have it there was a stamp on there which is really similar to the decoration on the tea cup so I just had to use this with it! I then added some punched out flowers etc... to decorate the card.

The actual image was stamped using black Memento ink and coloured using Copics - both Ciaos and Spicas. You can hopefully see the colouring a bit better in this picture.

Well that's all from me today.  I hope you like the card!

She is very cute and I lvoe the colour scheme. I've just got my copy of craft Stamper and I've been looking at your different techniques for starburst stains. Think I'll be getting a bit messy this afternoon! Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Kay. I love Miranda, especially her spiky hair. Aren't there just some adorable stamps about at the minute.
Did you watch the Wimbledon Final. Not nail biting but I'm glad Nadal won, he's my favourite.
It's terribly windy here today. I'm watching all my plants develop a lean!! Still at least it's fresher.
Hope you have a great week.
Hugs Lisax

Hi Kay, obviously a lot of other 'craft addicts' thought Miranda was super cute too, as it was out of stock (boohoo!) at The Craft Barn, the Extravaganza weekend. Love the colour combo.

Yes I did go to Newbury (today) and bought some things that were on my list and some things that weren't. From memory the following fell into my bag: new Cuttlebug cut'n'emboss folders, Websters Pages 6x6 pads, WOJ graduate stamps, a few Lavinia stamps, 2 x Papermania 12x12 Christmas pads (reduced to £5.99 each), Distress Stickles, 2 Friends stamps, 4 x Kanban Clear Stamp sets, 3 x Hobby Art Clear Stamp sets and some of their wooden mounted ones...think that is it. Oh and the Chapel Road 'Greeting Artshapes'.

Newbury was a lot quieter today than the Sunday last year. But speaking to some of the exhibitors it was v. busy yesterday.

Lavinia will be having some new images released in time for Ally Pally in September. Watching Tracy do the biz with the brayer was fascinating.

Hugs, Pauline x

Miranda is very cute, loving her hair and the way you've done the layout, xxx
p.s. sounds like we might have missed out by not going to Newbury, judging by Pauline's purchases! Lucky lady:)
