A Craft Barn Spend - Part 1

Well I'm afraid that I have been spending my pennies again!  Last week I went out to The Craft Barn in order to work out what I'll be demoing with for their June Extravaganza but while I was there I felt it would be rude not to have a little look around!!

As you can see I didn't come away empty handed although I was several pounds lighter!!

Although I enjoy making my own backgrounds I also love all the different cardstock and background papers that are on the market and this is what I spent most of my money on!

This picture shows the Bo Bunny Double Dots papers that I succumbed to.  I've never seen these papers before and unfortunately for me they are available in a huge variety of scrummy colours!  So infact I was VERY restrained just sticking to these. Although I did have to have 2 sheets of each colour!

Here's a closer look at these wonderful papers so that you can see the dots properly.  The other side of the paper is coloured too as it has a corresponding plain colour.  I just know that it won't be long before I'll be buying some more of these!

You won't believe how long it took me choosing these beautiful background papers as there were just so many gorgeous papers to choose from!  In the end I made this selection from Basic Grey, Bo Bunny and Best Creations (I think!!).  Again I had to have more than 1 sheet of each of them!  Most of these were double-sided as well which makes it even more difficult trying to work out which side I want to use!

Lastly (on the paper side of my spend) I bought these Basic Grey paper pads.  I really like the paper pads as it is a great way of having all the papers in that particular range without having to spend an absolute fortune.

For those of you who are coming to the June Extravaganza you will be able to see how I've used some of these papers as I am planning on using them on some of my sample cards.

All I can say is that I hope you have more will power than me when you visit The Craft Barn as it is just crammed full of wonderful products!  Tomorrow I'll show you what else I got while I was there................

Kay, these look good enough to eat! I will see you in June - I daren't go to the Craft Bar before then or I will have no money left, not having much willpower!!

Hi Kay, what gorgeous papers. I have the BG pads, (the Kioshi is just lush) and it looks like you've chosen the Bo Bunny papers to co-ordinate with the BG. Can't wait to see what you create with them.

I received a Do Crafts 'Henbury Lane' A4 paper pad from The Glitter Pot the other day along with other lovely goodies. It's gorgeous too. The new Kaisercraft papers are gorgeous too. There is just too much gorgeousness out there at the moment!

Hugs, Pauline x

Hi Lou - I'm good thanks although I hear you've been to Sir Stampalot recently so am a touch green!!

Helen - so pleased to hear that I'm not the only one with willpower problems!

Pauline - it sounds as if you are as bad as me at the moment with all your spending! You are right though about there being too much gorgeousness out there and you are also correct about me choosing the Bo Bunny papers to correspond with the background papers! See sometimes (and only sometimes!!) there is method to my madness!!
