New Lin Brown stamps!!

Hi everyone. A little while ago I was thrilled to be asked by the very talented Lin Brown to do a couple of sample cards for her latest stamp release!!  As you can no doubt imagine I jumped at the chance to play with some of her new range!

So without further ado below are the samples that I made for the release using Lin's new Poppy/Tulip stamp set ELB23 along with a few words as to how to create each one :).

Using stamps from the ELB23 stamp plate, stamp and emboss the tulip head and stem twice and the wording onto a 12x17cm watercolour panel using VersaMark and White Detail embossing powder. Colour with Copics and create a background using Mustard Seed Distress Inkpad. Stamp leaves along the base of the panel using Peeled Paint Distress inkpad and sponge in background imagery using TCW Mini Wildflowers stencil and Mustard Seed. Randomly stamp and emboss the small decorative element from the stamp sheet using VersaMark and Stampendous Shabby White embossing enamel. Using a Mustard Seed Distress Marker trace over the wording and draw in some small butterflies – trace over with a fine black mulitliner. Sprinkle Shabby White embossing enamel and heat from underneath. Cut into two sections and layer to a larger watercolour panel then to a folded card blank.

Using stamps from the ELB23 stamp plate, stamp and emboss the poppy head and stem twice onto a 12.5cm² watercolour panel using VersaMark and White Detail embossing powder. Colour with Copics then create a background using Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint Distress Inkpads. Stamp some leaves and the poppy wording using Peacock Feathers. Sponge in some background imagery using TCW Mini Butterfly Meadow stencil and Peeled Paint. Sprinkle Stampendous Shabby White embossing enamel along the top and base of the panel and heat from underneath. Highlight the poppy wording with a white gel pen. Layer to a larger watercolour panel and then to a folded card blank.

Colour with Copics and create a background using Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint Distress Inkpads. Stamp leaves along the base of the panel using Peacock Feathers then sponge in some background tulips and foliage using TCW Mini Wildflowers stencil and Peeled Paint. Sprinkle on some Stampendous Shabby White embossing enamel and heat from underneath. Layer to a larger watercolour panel and then to a folded card blank.

Using stamps from the ELB23 stamp plate, stamp and emboss the poppy head and stem three times onto a 12.5x17.5cm watercolour panel using VersaMark and White Detail embossing powder. Colour the poppies using Copics then create a background using a Peeled Paint Distress Inkpad. Stamp background leaves using Peeled Paint and stamp and emboss a few flower heads (from ELB24) using VersaMark and Stampendous Shabby Green embossing enamel. Sprinkle some of the embossing enamel around the edges and heat from underneath. Draw a few little butterflies with a fine black marker and colour with a white gel pen.
