Hi guys. Thought I'd share a card with you that I made using the 'Resist Watercolour' technique with Copic markers. The snowman is coloured in the traditional way using Copics but the branches have been coloured using the new technique that I came across using Copics.
Some of you I know have already seen my article in the December issue of Craft Stamper showing you how to do this technique but for those of you who haven't you'll just have to buy the mag to find out how it's done!!
The snowman is called Happy Soul, the stamped snowflakes (on the green background), the pine branches and wording are all from the Winter Whites and Greens clear stamp set and the scroll is called Snow Scroll - all of which are by Penny Black and available from The Glitter Pot.
The white card was embossed using the Snowflakes folder by Crafts Too which came from The Craft Barn.
The large punched out snowflakes are a Martha Stewart punch (Glacial Snowflake) and the smaller ones are a Woodware punch.
Here's a closer look at the main panel. You'll find that I have used these same stamps in my magazine article too! Hope you like it!
(By the way I'm also teaching how to do this technique this Saturday at The Glitter Pot. Click here for more details.)

Hi Kay
I got back from the NEC show to find my issue of Craft Stamper waiting for me. I love your resist method and will give it a try
After 4 days of standing and demoing it was bliss to sit with a cup of tea and study my Craft Stamper! Thanks for the inspiration
hugs Sarah x
As you already know I bought the mag and now MUST buy the stamps. Your cards are brilliant. xxx
Hi Kay,
Love the card and what a cute snowman! But I mustn't buy any more! I mustn't, mustn't... I bought some funky Butterfly Kisses clear stamp snowmen at the NEC.
Have read the CS article and will be trying technique this weekend.
Almost had a disaster with my Copics. One of the plastic storage cases fell onto the floor the other evening with such force nearly all the markers inside were bounced out of their caps. So I had a fun time matching the caps to the pens.
Have a great weekend, hugs, Pauline x
Hi Kay, what a wonderful card, you always make the snowmen you do look like they have come to life !
Love your technique in Craft Stamper, haven't tried yet.
Cannot wait to be on your class. Love Jo.xxx
